This weekend was filled with out of the ordinary events.
Friday night and Saturday morning I was blessed to be able to go to the Beth Moore event here in Knoxville. My sweet mother in law invited me and it was a great time. Beth, in her crazy, big personality way taught on how we as Christians need to be credible to the outside, unbelieving world. If we want people to come to know Jesus, our lives must line up with what we are teaching. There is always conviction to be felt here and ways for the Lord to grow us. Thankful that He is doing the work!

The second irregular event of the weekend was our visit from my favorite teacher of all time, Mr. Lau and his sweet family. He was my teacher 3rd-7th grade and was more like an awesome uncle than just a teacher. His family lives in Wisconsin and was heading down to South Carolina for vacation. I think it has been 5 years since I have seen them, which is hard to believe. It was great for him to be able to meet my awesome husband and see the Lord's faithfulness in my life. We just caught up, ate cookies and laughed a lot. Sweet blessing!
Today, another irregular event occurred. I played tennis! Lanie and I played and he wore an awesome outfit that I think was purposed to distract me but it didn't work. It was really fun and I always get a little itch to start playing more every time I'm on the court (which is rare) these days. Perhaps I will seek out some players in Knoxville to at least start hitting regularly again. A great end to a great weekend!
